When I recovered from my heart attack, I looked back with clear eyes and realized one truth: I had been ignoring my body for years. Wrong food, no tracking, no awareness. And I paid a very heavy price for it.

But then I thought — there are millions of young people out there, working long hours, building careers, taking care of families, who are making exactly the same mistake I made. Nobody told them the price they will pay.

I decided to do something about it. HealthSnap is my way of saying: work hard, absolutely — but keep one eye on what you eat, on your blood pressure, on your blood sugar. These three numbers tell you more about your health than anything else.

That realization made me think of the younger generation — working very hard, totally concentrating on their careers — but with eating habits that are just as bad as mine were.

I decided to develop this app. I concentrated on three basic issues: blood pressure, heart pulse rate, and sugar and calorie intake. It's so simple to operate that even a child can use it. Just take a photo of your food. Instantly, you get the data.
